Children's Work
1. [Primary]
Why not let
me know if you have children's work on your web site? I will include it
here.
Learner's work:
- Use the web to
showcase learners' work.
- Always provide
sufficient background details on how the work came about
- Give details on the
class involved.
- Giving details on
background/children's age will enable people to judge the quality of the
work in context.
Learners involved in
web publishing learn:
- to work creatively
with text, graphics and sound
- to develop their ICT
skills in a meaningful, collaborative context.
- to demonstrate their
understanding of a topic by presenting it in an attractive and persuasive
way which will hold people's attention.
An excellent starting
place is:
Using
Kids on the Net

section on Art Galleries
Other Examples:
• Children's
work using Flash - - a must see; Dr Geoff Dellow champions the use
of Flash for the learning of mathematical concepts and concepts not readily
accessible by the use of pen and paper; provides tuition in the use of Flash.
Some staggeringly amazing work done by kids!
